OneOncology

Connected Patients, Enhanced Care

OneOncology knows that common technology platforms are critical to driving scalability, improved patient and provider experiences, and clinical innovation.

However, supporting more than 25 independent practices of varying sizes made it challenging for OneOncology to align on a common patient experience platform. To rectify this situation, OneOncology embarked on a journey to identify a technology platform that supported the broad requirements of partner practices. The company quickly identified Navigating Care as the only software provider that offered integrated patient portal, patient education, clinic triage, and patient reported outcomes solutions. Navigating Care also had a dedicated team of 60+ employees with a similar mission to OneOncology and a track record of over 15 years of experience serving community oncology clinics across the country.

Since the acquisition in July, the Navigating Care team has been rapidly deploying its product suite across OneOncology’s partner practices. It is expected that by the end of 2025 Navigating Care will support approximately 3,000 community-oncology providers and well over one million registered patients through their portal. Additionally, the Navigating Care team, in consultation with current customers and the OneOncology leadership team, is expanding its capabilities to enhance the patient and provider experience. This clinician feedback is critical and aligned with OneOncology’s servant leadership culture to build a product that community oncology providers, staff, and patients need. OneOncology and the Navigating Care team are committed to supporting all community practices, regardless of MSO or Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) affiliation. The broader commitment to community oncology and patients is our north star.

With this commitment in mind, OneOncology is making a multi-million-dollar expanded investment in Navigating Care’s technology that will enhance its existing offerings and add new solutions all within a single integrated platform. Expanded capabilities will include additional support for value-based care performance, the MIPS program, Medicare’s Enhancing Oncology Model (EOM), new patient survey tools, more robust tracking of patient reported outcomes, improved clinic efficiency, enhanced patient education, and triage innovation to improve management of therapeutic toxicities. Together, these offerings will improve patient experience and outcomes, extend duration of therapy, reduce practice administrative burden, and lower the overall cost of care. These novel ways to capture information and engage patients throughout their care journey will also present unique opportunities for OneOncology and its partner practices to continue their leadership in real-world evidence generation, delivering scientific advancements that will support oncology patients. This type of innovation would not be possible without the clinical leadership of current customers and OneOncology’s Clinical Affairs staff.
