OneOncology

Sustained Growth Across the Platform

In 2024, OneOncology practices achieved remarkable growth, enabling them to reach more patients across both existing and new geographies, expanding access to high-quality cancer care, and providing more treatment options for patients in their communities.

OneOncology’s growth is multidimensional and results from welcoming new partner practices to its platform and supporting the expansion of existing partners. Overall, OneOncology supports practice growth efforts by providing the business development, financial, clinical, and operational expertise needed to execute and manage growth effectively. This enables practices to expand their reach, see more patients, and deliver better, more accessible care—all while preserving their autonomy and commitment to their communities.

Over the course of the year, OneOncology signed with more than 280 physicians to join the platform through a combination of practice partnerships and recruitment efforts. Six new practice partners signed to join the network from four states. OneOncology is currently comprised of 26 practices across 16 states, totaling over 1,600 providers who collectively care for nearly one million patients annually. OneOncology is excited to support new partner practices’ integration and growth in the coming years.

Beyond expanding its overall physician network, OneOncology continued to support its partner practices by providing capital and expertise so they can open new sites of care and add enhanced key service lines across the continuum of care, including imaging, radiation, CAR T, laboratory, and pharmacy services across the network.

At Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, the leading community oncology group in Baton Rouge and the surrounding region, OneOncology supported the expansion of their services to enhance high-value care for patients in the community. Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center broadened its lab, imaging, and urology services to provide even more comprehensive care under one roof. OneOncology helped finance the necessary capital investments to optimize lab and imaging equipment. Additionally, OneOncology imaging and urology subject matter experts played a crucial role in guiding Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center through the development of these new service lines, ensuring the successful execution of these initiatives. OneOncology teams provide guidance and support on technical, operations, and clinical aspects, ensuring practices don’t have to navigate these complexities alone. Not only does OneOncology provide capital for state-of-the-art medical equipment, but it also supports the development of entirely new sites, enabling groups like Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center to expand into additional service lines and new markets, like the practice did with their urology service line. As a result, patients can now receive comprehensive care from their provider team at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, ensuring continuity of care while benefiting from a more cost-effective alternative in the market.

The growth of our partner in Southern California offers an example of how OneOncology supports a practice as it grows geographically. In 2024, the Los Angeles Cancer Network (LACN) welcomed 25 additional physicians to their practice. By the end of 2025, the number of physicians practicing at LACN is projected to exceed 50, showcasing the practice’s remarkable growth since joining OneOncology. Dr. Boris Bagdasarian at LACN said: “While we were previously hesitant to join an MSO because we were afraid of losing our autonomy, by becoming part of OneOncology, we not only have kept our autonomy, but we have also been able to expand our services along the continuum of care with the backing of capital, expertise, and infrastructure. We have seen major growth in the past several years since becoming a part of OneOncology.”

Practice partners’ results speak for themselves, both in measurable outcomes and testimonials. A partnership with OneOncology drives practice growth while expanding patient access to high-quality cancer care close to home, all while staying true to our mission of empowering community oncology.
