OneOncology is thriving in the marketplace thanks to our distinctive culture and unwavering commitment to our physician partners. This focus has not only fueled the growth in practices joining our platform in 2024 but also drove our existing partners’ expansion in their local markets by adding physicians and services along the continuum of cancer care.
Our success in advancing our core oncology platform has strengthened investor confidence and spurred a desire to extend OneOncology’s reach beyond oncology, as we’re now doing in urology.
A key milestone in 2024 was our acquisition of with United Urology Group (UUG), a leading urology specialty management services organization (MSO) supporting approximately 250 providers. UUG’s physician leadership, focus on innovation, clinical research, and excellence in ancillary services make it an ideal fit for OneOncology.
Urology and oncology practices, as independent medical specialties, share several similarities, including the ability to offer significant efficiencies in the site of service. Just as independent medical and radiation oncology practices consistently serve as cost effective, high-quality providers in communities nationwide, independent urology practices with Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) also deliver substantial site-of-service efficiencies.
Together, our combined leadership and expertise create a unique platform that will drive exceptional value for our practice partners and their patients in both oncology and urology. I am excited about the potential this partnership holds as we bring these two outstanding organizations together in 2025.
As OneOncology continues to grow, we must remain grounded in the values that set us apart in the marketplace: our culture and our ability to deliver tangible value to our partner practices. A prime example of this is OneOncology’s acquisition of the care management platform, Navigating Care. This investment underscores our commitment to enhancing the resources available to our partner practices and for all oncology practices regardless of MSO affiliation. With integrated technology platforms that enhance both the patient and provider experience, it became clear that Navigating Care is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of oncology practices. Their comprehensive suite—spanning patient portals, education, clinic triage, and patient-reported outcomes—has already been deployed across many of our partner practices. We’ve already committed to invest an additional $5 million to enhance Navigating Care’s services and are collaborating closely with the Navigating Care team and their customers to develop physician-led capabilities oncology practices require.
While the Navigating Care acquisition was our most high-profile investment in practice tools, it is by no means the only one. As detailed in the following pages, OneOncology continues to invest in key practice areas such as clinical research, precision medicine clinical support tools, pharmacy shared services, and educational content.
OneOncology is deeply committed to reinvesting in our practice partners and their patients. Our culture and proven ability to create lasting value are the foundation of our success. This unique approach has enabled OneOncology to expand beyond its core oncology focus into strategic Mergers & Acquisitions, further strengthening our platform and ensuring we continue to reinvest in our partners’ growth.
